This year the town beach has been decorated in rather an unusual way. |
Our garden was looking beautiful. |
The sea at Ova Buku met our requirements. |
Along with the beach beds. |
We did a massive shop and filled the fridge and cupboards. Note the oranges from Koycegiz ready for Matt to juice. |
Then the boat came in from Bodrum and who should be on it - but Matt. |
There was plenty of resting. |
Ania loved the cats. |
Then we had a small gathering at the Cafe Inn (one of our favourites) to celebrate Jack's amazing achievement. |
We invited a couple of pals who knew Jack and were interested in his ride. One of them used to work in Brussels where Jack lives and was very kind to him when he was first job hunting. |
Sybel and her staff ran us up a delicious cake. |
We have some smashing friends in Datca and just as the cake arrived so did Mehmet! He is here on his holidays from Sweden. |
Hil was very merry. |
Our lovely waitress Kader. |
Time for a few drinks at Pica cafe. We love it there too. |
A trip to our favourite beach. |
A very lovely out of the way place. |
More eating with lovely friends. |
There was a considerable amount of eating on this holiday - Jack needed feeding up! |
Breakfast in Eski Datca. |
Recognise the frock anyone? ;-) |
A wander round the village. |
Then coffee time. |
A village puss. |
So many memories of this trip and I am tired now so there will be part three - watch this space!
