The Best Views in Datca

... are from our house, well we think they are! The sea is ever changing, sometimes rough and stormy, mostly brilliant blue and twinkly. I could sit for hours in our garden and watch the boats pass by. They range from little fishing boats, gulets, smart yachts including those owned by the rich and famous, Ataturk's large yacht and even once The World - a massive floating palace. Sometimes I see Matt wizzing past on his windsurfer.
At night once a month there is the most wonderful full moon. It hangs over the sea right in front of our house and the night before we bought the house there was a full moon - hence the name Villa Dolunay. The stars over our house seem to be brighter than anywhere in the world. Matt purchased a telescope to view the passing boats and the stars.
Not long now until we see our views once more.

This was Maradona's boat chugging home at the end of the day with Hil on board.
